July 2009 Ride - Independence Day Ride

Hey Folks,

Nine of us showed up for the breakfast at the Starlite Diner, and one of us was late. Eight of us went for a ride with 5 coming to eat at my place. In the middle of the ride we stopped up on a ridge right on the Applaichain trail and I shared the Word.

June 2009 Ride - "Pocono Screamer"

Hey Folks,

The ride went pretty well, only 1 U-turn! We had 23 riders in attendance with two folks meeting us after driving from the new Jersey shore. Although we kept getting behind cars, trucks, and buses. Everyone had a good time, no one crashed and we rode on some pretty cool roads. Glory to God.

May 2009 Ride - "Blue Mountain Run"

Well, it was a tricky ride today. Was it going to rain or not? The answer is a little bit for a while and then a resounding NO! After a good breakfast at the Starlite, we rode through the drizzle up and over Blue Mountain. After we made it over the mountain there were no more sprinkles and the sun came out. We made a rest/fuel stop at Delaware Water Gap, then Drez lead the Jersey half of the ride. We had some great roads but were frustrated by slow moving cars and trucks. Then we stopped at White Castle in Hackettstown for a lunch. I couldn't stay because I had to pick up my Dad at the airport. Despite the difficulties it was a good time with good people. I'm looking forward to June already.

April 2009 Blessing of the Bikes

Hello All,

Myself, andyr, pohlcat, and two others met up at Martin's motorsports in Boyertown. We then rode over to Reading Motorcycle club where the ministers from their biker church prayed for each rider and passenger that waited for prayer. Following, we went over to AR's house for a picnic and any necessary maintenance that was necessary. I did my customary three U-turns for the ride, but no one went down. The pictures are below. Enjoy.

April 2009 Ride - "Leap into Lancaster"

The ride was a success, no one went down and all three of us had a great time. Thanks also to the other four other cool folk who came out to the first ever CSBA breakfast at the Starlite diner. The food was very good, service also, bathrooms were nice, and the prices comparable to Chris'. All in all, it was a good move. Thanks to all who did the "research" to make this possible. Thanks also to Andyr for coming through in the clutch to lead the lower half of the ride. We visited Western and northern Lancaster county and saw a lotta cool places. We even saw Princess leia, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, (light saber fighting) and Spiderman flexing all in a country driveway. We also saw serious horsepower with one Amish man driving seven clydesdale sized horses plowing a field. And a really cool town called Marietta. The pics are below, don't miss the ride in May, it's a two stater! See you soon.

March 2009 Ride and Lunch

We had lunch at the duck deli in Doylestown. We missed andyr because on GPS issues and my bad directions. Sorry Andy! We rode into southern Bucks and we stopped at a 9/11 memorial and that was WAY cool. The whole time I was there I had goosebumps. They had a sculpture made from steel from the WTC. The five of us that came all shared where we were and what we were doing when everything changed. It was really deep. Natty, myself, Hannah, bob, and my friend Al were there. Despite my comedy of errors (3 u-turns!) we all enjoyed being out through the scenic twisties of Bucks County. I'll post pics when I download them onto my computer. The Scripture for the month follows this post. Hope you can make it next month.
