Hey Folks,

The ride went pretty well, only 1 U-turn! We had 23 riders in attendance with two folks meeting us after driving from the new Jersey shore. Although we kept getting behind cars, trucks, and buses. Everyone had a good time, no one crashed and we rode on some pretty cool roads. Glory to God.

Scripture Readings for June 2009

The Scripture for this ride was out of Matthew, chapter 7, verses 24-29. That passage tells of the wise and foolish builders who build their houses one on rock and the other on sand. It doesn't make a distinction to race, social position, class of the builder of the house. It doesn't call into question his/her building techniques or materials. Obviously, the builder is well off financially because they can build a house by the water. WHEN the storm comes the house built on the rock stands and the house built on sand fails. The house built on rock is like the person who hears God's Word/teaching and obeys it. The house built on sand/the foolish builder does not obey God's teaching when they heard it. My question: Upon what foundation is your house built?
