Hello Folks,

We had lunch at the duck deli in Doylestown. We missed andyr because on GPS issues and my bad directions. Sorry Andy! We rode into southern Bucks and we stopped at a 9/11 memorial and that was WAY cool. The whole time I was there I had goosebumps. They had a sculpture made from steel from the WTC. The five of us that came all shared where we were and what we were doing when everything changed. It was really deep. Natty, myself, Hannah, bob, and my friend Al were there. Despite my comedy of errors (3 u-turns!) we all enjoyed being out through the scenic twisties of Bucks County. I'll post pics when I download them onto my computer. The Scripture for the month follows this post. Hope you can make it next month.

Scripture Readings for March 2009

The Scripture for this month is out of Genesis 9:8-17

8 Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him: 9 "I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you 10 and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth. 11 I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth."

12 And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."

17 So God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth."

It's basically God promising Noah never to bring catastrophe to the Earth by flood, and you know what God kept His word. How does that apply to this day and age? Right now the world is going through a financial catastrophe, many are going through difficult cirmcumstances. As Noah believed God and had faith in Him, God brought Him through the Flood. As we face difficulties in our lives, God is able to bring us through it, as well. Peace to you all.
