Greetings!

A Happy Easter to you all. I hope this email finds you well. Yesterday, April 3rd, we had our monthly CSBA Eastern Pa. chapter ride. We rode down to Lancaster county and back. What fun it was! We saw all sorts of scenery, animals and roads. A good time was had by all, and there was a lot of riders. We had 26 bikes with 28 riders, a Eastern Pa chapter record. We had lunch at the Brass Eagle Family Restaurant and then shared the Word. The Scripture is below and I attached two pictures, one at the diner for breakfast and one at the restaurant for lunch. I had to make only one U-turn, but we did have a rider go down. He injured his elbow and his bike had moderate damage. His parents came and took him to the hospital. I wanted to thanks RT, bobjan, jlasure, Rickj, ANLR21, Sal, and all else that helped. This was a great ride and I hope to see you all soon.

Scripture Readings for April 2010

Ephesians 4:17-24 (New International Version)
Living as Children of Light
17So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.
18They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.
19Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more.
20You, however, did not come to know Christ that way.
21Surely you heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus.
22You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
23to be made new in the attitude of your minds;
24and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 (New International Version)
3And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.
4The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

In the first passage of Scripture we read about the apostle Paul explaining the difference between those who follow God and those who do not. He said that there minds were closed and full of darkness. In II Corinthians Paul spoke of unbelievers whose mind is blind. When we consider this, if you don't know God, or are not following Him, this seems to make no sense. How could this be? The reason is, if you don't know God, you are blinded in mind, heart, and spirit. When you come to God and He reveals Himself to you, it is as you seeing life in a new way, and you are! The best way to explain this is to recount the movie "The Matrix". In it, the actor Laurence Fishburne playing "Morpheus" is attempting to recruit "Neo" played by Keanu Reeves. He also tells him that things aren't what they are seen. He puts a glass of water before him with two pills. One pill will put him back to sleep and things will be as they were before. The other pill will cause him to realize the truth and everything will change. Neo chooses the latter pill and his life is changed. The choice is the same for you, will you choose Christ this Easter? If you do, your life will be never be the same. Lastly, I'll leave you with an old hymn that you probably all know the words to, Amazing Grace. The songwriter was a slave ship captain until He came to Christ and then, well, the song says it best.

Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me,
I once was lost, but now I'm found; was blind, but now I see.

May God bless you all!
